The founding
Raaskal was founded in 2016 by Sjoerd Henstra. The creation of Raaskal stems from the need to make restaurant quality widely available. From the shelves in the supermarket to healthcare institutions and corporate caterers. In addition, Raaskal has been a custom partner for catering companies, chains and franchisees since its inception. The company has taken off since day one and is growing extremely fast to this day.
Innovative food production
In the first five years, Raaskal has thus become a well-known player in the field of innovative food production. The products which Raaskal produces under different labels can be found in almost all supermarkets in the Netherlands. In addition, our products are popular with caterers, hotels and restaurants and healthcare institutions. We work a lot with local products and produce as sustainably as possible, but we are also not afraid to get the right quality from far away. Our staff is educated and experienced, but above all creative and motivated.
